Jacob graduated from Baylor University in the spring of 2016 with a B.S. in Chemistry. During this time he worked in an organic synthesis lab, under Dr. Kevin G. Pinney, synthesizing natural product analogues that showed potent cytotoxic and antitumor activity through the inhibition of tubulin polymerization. In addition, he also interned at a small specialty polyurethane and epoxy company where he reformulated multiple polyurethanes and made improvements in product manufacturing and quality control. Before joining NEXT, he spent a brief time at UCSB studying organic methodology and chemical catalysis. At NEXT, Jacob works as an engineer focusing on device testing and reliability.
